Steven Van Zwieten CPP, Managing Director
Steve is a strategic and operational security specialist with over 30 years of security management experience. His achievements include:
- Senior Regional Vice President of ASIS International for Australasia 2003-2009
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
- Certified in security management by ASIS International, the world pre-eminent society for security professionals.
- A member of the Gaming and Wagering Council.
- Founding chairman of the Australasian Security and Gaming Council which comprises representatives from licensed premises and major Casinos throughout Australasia.
- Corporate security specialist and surveillance Director of The Penrith Panthers Entertainment Group, the largest licensed Club in the Southern Hemisphere. Under Steve’s leadership the Panthers organization established a highly professional level of totally integrated security management systems which were regarded as the industry benchmark by security leaders in Australia.
- General Manager of the Panther Group’s flagship property at Penrith for 3 years.
John Hanna, Chief Financial Officer
John has extensive experience in commerce and business advisory services, with over 10 years of managing SME’s. Prior to joining Exact, John was the Financial Controller of ATMAAC International (a $25million security firm of 400 employees). John directed the finance function, tender pricing and valuation assisting the company in adding $9million to its annual revenue.
Prior to ATMAAC, in his capacity as Director of Finance John had the responsibility of implementing new accounting systems and control procedures for one of Sydney’s most specialised private hospitals. He was also part of a taskforce to conduct feasibility studies, and project management for a $120 million health and infrastructure project. His prior career was with the Uniting Church of Australia, The Australian Medical Cooperative and the Royal Australian Air Force.
Scott Taylor, National Operations Manager
Scott possesses a thorough understanding of client’s security requirements across a variety of industries and has proven success in the delivery of an excellent standard of service. He is widely regarded in the security industry and is a sought after Nationally Accredited Trainer for a variety of Vocational Education Courses such as Security, Risk Management, Aggressive Behaviour Management and Defensive Tactics to name a few.
Scott’s background in security management over the last 17 years has included regular and detailed market research, competitor analysis and benchmarking of necessary performance standards against client expectations and using these skills to identify training and development opportunities to up-skill his workforce to ensure they are providing the best quality service possible from educated, skilled and motivated security operatives. This also allows for his onsite client visits to truly add value to both our client’s establishment and by modifying and improving guard performance onsite even mid shift.
